MES Pinvin and District League
QUEENS (Elmley Castle) recorded the most impressive win in the quarter-finals of the Cooper Cup.
League leaders Swan (Birlingham) were the victims of an 8-1 defeat and only a last singles win from Terry Price prevented a whitewash.
There was a tight affair at Pershore Town FC where Terry Philpotts won the last singles to sneak a 5-4 win over Pershore WMC.
Pinvin RBL overcame Masons (Wadborough) in the top of the table clash although they cut it fine at the finish winning 5-4 after leading 5-0 at one stage.
Chestnut (Lower Moor) accounted for Bell (Eckington) 6-3 in the other tie to book their place in the semi-finals that will take place on Monday, February 4.
