STAFF at a tiny branch of HSBC in Broadway raised more than £1,100 for charity during 2001.
Headed by bank manager, Ellen Wagstaff, with full-timer Juliet Fisher and part-timer, Alison White, the staff must be among the most community-minded in the country.
Last year, Mrs Wags-taff and her husband were treated to a cruise by head office in appreciation of her outstanding banking results.
Now charities are gaining from the Broadway bank's pro-wess in piling up the pounds.
Mrs Wagstaff said: "I love Broadway - our customers are so generous."
She and her staff were seen by millions on Central TV, just before Christmas, behind the tills dressed in full Santa suits to raise a smile.
The money they raised this year has gone to children's charities.
