RAIDERS broke into two Volvo cars which were parked near Broadway Tower between 2.35 and 2.45pm on January 2. The raiders stole a leather handbag and purse after smashing the rear quarterlight of a silver car, but the owner of a red Volvo, a man aged 45, from Broadway, returned to see two people breaking into his car. They quickly got into a waiting dark grey saloon with two other men and drove off.
