THREE North Midlands players have been included in the England 18-Group Schools final rugby union trial at Nottingham High School this weekend.

Number eight Luke Narraway, scrum-half Nick Major and fly-half Ross Laidlaw, who are all students at King's School in Worcester, secured their selection after they played for the Midlands in the Divisional Festival in Wolverhampton.

All three will be attempting to catch the eye of the selectors ahead of England's game against the touring New Zealand 18-Group Schools at Twickenham on January 30.

England's other international are against Ireland at Cambridge on March 30, Wales at Macclesfield on April 3 and France in Dax on April 13.
