BEWDLEY Town were knocked out of the Kidderminster Hospital Cup by West Midland League Division One North side Ounsdale by the only goal of the match.

Ounsdale were the better side in the first half and could have been three or four goals ahead but for some poor finishing.

Their winner arrived when Barry Jackson was left unmarked and he turned to score after 20 minutes.

Bewdley missed several chances in the second half and were encamped in Ounsdale's half throughout.

But Grant Gibbs hit the post and substitutes Chris Bow and Dale Evans were also guilty of missing after getting clear.

Ounsdale have conceded just four goals this season so far but Bewdley tested them with a good second-half display.
