WHEN visiting Kidderminster recently I was disgusted at the McDonald's litter - plastic and polystyrene containers etc - strewn around the benches in Worcester Street.
People were sitting, eating their takeaways, with litter all around their ankles, even though a few feet away were litter bins.
Are those responsible lazy, ignorant, or both?
It is costing us, the ratepayers, thousands of pounds to clear up after these people when the money could be spent on better things.
If the persons responsible have not already made New Year's resolutions, will they please make them "I will not drop litter".
Let us make our towns and countryside places to be proud of. It doesn't take much effort, but what a different it would make.
