IN separate articles in the December 27 Shuttle/Times & News district political allies Councillors Mike Oborski (Liberal) and John Gordon (Health Concern) attack Worcestershire County Council of which they are members.
Councillor Oborski attacks the underwriting by the county council of the cost of the incinerator site purchase.
Councillor Gordon attacks the Hagley school review because of possible implications for Kidderminster.
Both councillors also serve on the district council where they belong to political parties allied to the Conservatives.
At county level these three parties - Liberal, Health Concern and Conservative - make up a majority of council membership.
Therefore, these allied parties have the power to overturn current county incinerator and education policies.
So why do Councillors Oborski and Gordon prefer to seek easy publicity rather than organise their colleagues to defeat policies they claim to oppose?
