A KIDDERMINSTER man said to be a heroin addict has been warned he faces custody unless he complies with a drug testing order.
Wayne Crowther is required to report twice a week for checks to see whether he is clear of drugs, Worcester Crown Court was told.
But 20-year-old Crowther, of Homfray Road, has not been attending although he has given valid reasons, said probation officer Azeem Akhtar.
Judge Ian Morris said Crowther, who was convicted last November of theft and driving offences, should not play "ducks and drakes" with the order. "You were given a very generous opportunity to sort yourself out," he said. "The testing order is a criminal sanction and must be obeyed."
The judge ordered another review of the case in 28 days time.
