MECHANIC Steven Randall used his trade skills to help a friend hot-wire a car in a dealer's compound.
His fingerprints were on the car when the police found it at Aggborough, magistrates were told.
Randall, 19, of Cobham Road, Kidderminster, was bailed for a pre-sentence report when he admitted taking the car without permission.
He had helped to start it but had not driven it, said his solicitor, Ruth Edwards.
