A BOY of 13 is to undergo further psychiatric assessment to see whether he is fit to answer a £350,000 arson charge.
Judge Andrew Geddes adjourned the case at Worcester Crown Court after hearing conflicting reports on whether the boy is fit to plead.
Another boy, now 11, is jointly charged and has pleaded not guilty to starting the fire at Dillons newsagents in Stourport Road, Kidderminster, on February 17 last year.
He denies arson with intent to endanger the life of Zoe Walker with an alternative charge of arson, being reckless that her life might be endangered.
