A TEENAGE driver embedded his father's car into the family's Stourport house after he clipped a kerb and lost control early on Sunday morning
Robert Drysdale, 19, escaped serious injury when the Mercedes CLK he was driving careered through a fence and across a lawn before ramming the kitchen of the £300,000 property in Moorhall Lane.
No-one in the house was hurt but Mr Drysdale, who also lives there, was detained by police after he received treatment at the Minor Injuries Unit at Kidderminster Hospital.
His mother Jane, who cut short a holiday with her husband John in the Far East when she heard of the accident, said: "We're very upset about it. But as long as my son is safe and uninjured that's the most important thing."
Inspector Ian Massey of Kidderminster Police said: "We are not seeking anyone else in connection with this incident."
