STUDENTS from Worcester College of Technology have been put through their paces in a series of sport, fitness and health challenges.
The gruelling tests, carried out at Cannons Fitness premises in Droitwich Road, Worcester, involved a planned workout involving treadmills, step machines, weights and swimming.
The schedule was part of the college's public service course, with the aim being that the students should see the facilities on offer to the public.
"Students wanted to experience work in the health club from a user's point of view," said a Cannon's spokeswoman.
"They may well be the people running leisure clubs in the future so it's essential that they combine both management initiatives behind the scenes, as well as the activities and workout routines the public want to participate in."
