ASTWOOD Bank Operatic Society will not to be outdone by the likes of Harry Potter, Gandalf or Frodo Baggins with its spring production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Sorcerer.
The show, which takes place from March 5-9 at the Palace Theatre, includes mysteries and spells, one of which is a potion which sees the cast falling asleep and, on waking, falling in love with the first person they see.
The show will be staged with new producer and musical director Terry Day and John Clarke at the helm, with leading roles played by Janna Mutton, Mandy Goddard, Mavis Yates, Melanie Hart, Michael Hawkins, David Steele, John Baker and Bob Bromley.
Tickets cost £7 or £6.50 (concessions) from the ticket secretary on 893816.
