GENEROUS townsfolk have been turning up the heat to raise money for repairs to the radiators and heating system in St Nicholas' Church.
So far, a total of £4,745 has been raised towards the work but a great deal more is needed.
Fund-raising events took a break in December but begin again in earnest this month.
After a barn dance in the town hall on Sunday, January 27, events to follow include music days, a duck race and lots of others.
