A teenager has been charged with assault following an attack on a 15-year-old boy just after 2pm on Saturday.
The boy was taken to Stoke Hospital suffering a fractured rib after the incident which happened on Bates Hill in the town centre.
The 15-year-old offender is due to appear at Redditch Youth Court next Thursday.
