Studley's Jason Jones has won through to the final preliminary round of the 2001 Michelin Renault Scholarship.
The prize at stake is a drive with the Elf Clio RenaultSport Cupchampions Tim Sugden Motorsport's RenaultSport Clios.
After the final preliminary round 30 drivers will be invited to Donington for a pre-final from which ten drivers will battle it out in the grand final with the last two events held next month. A panel of judges comprising professional drivers and people from Michelin, Renault and Autosport magazine will pick a winner.
