TIME is running out for parents hoping to bag top school places in Bromsgrove for youngsters this September.
Worcestershire County Council is reminding parents with children due to start school between September 2002 and July 2003 to put their child's name down for a place at their preferred school.
Hundreds of town children are due to start school in September, but the council does not know how many want places in its schools.
The closing date for admissions applications is February 8.
Council transfers and admissions officer Mike Hughes said: "If you have not yet applied, we would urge you to do so as soon as possible."
