A KINDHEARTED Hagley woman has received a prestigious award for more than 25 years working for social services.
Mary Frith, who has worked as a home care assistant for Worcestershire County Council for more than quarter of a century, received a commemorative plate at a ceremony on Monday.
Three other hardworking care assistants were also presented with plates by the county council's director of social services Jennie Bashforth at Worcester's County Hall.
