THE November meeting took place at the Raven Hotel with president Shirley Jones in the chair.
It was decided that £1,000 should be donated to past president Marion Neale's chosen charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. The remaining money would go to other charities.
The club had spent a very enjoyable lunchtime at the Jinney Ring Centre, in Hanbury.
The speaker was Elwyn Goss whose chosen subject, laughter is the best medicine, made everyone feel much better.
