HOW strange the normally vociferous critics of the NHS, who keep pointing our the vastly superior service to be found across the Channel, seem to have missed the news that on January 2, some 55,000 French GPs went on strike seeking an increase in the fees that are payable for consultation and home visits.
Are these unusually mute critics internationally blinkered or perhaps the news clashed with their political ideology.
