SURELY the efforts of Jacqui Smith, our MP and a health minister, would be far better spent confirming to Redditch parents, her constituents, that she has followed Government advice and had her children vaccinated with the MMR injection.
Such an action would do more to allay the fears of concerned parents than any amount of Government publicity either locally or nationally.
The old axiom, 'actions speak louder than words' seems astonishingly relevant in these propaganda-rich times.
