I WOULD like to thank members of the Alcester Male Voice Choir, their musical director Judith Land and accompanist Sue Underwood for the magnificent performance of a Christmas wassail on December 15.

My most sincere thanks also to Michelle Garner, Sarah, Rachel and Helen Longfils, four your musicians, for wonderful performances on piano and violin respectively.

I appreciate all these performers gave of their time and skills on a Saturday night very near to Christmas to raise funds for a new vehicle for the Where Next Association.

My thanks go to the backroom boys and girls who sold programmes and raffle tickets, made and served mince pies and fruit punch and to all those kind friends and family who donated raffle prizes.

Sainsbury, Tesco and Biddles corner shop, Webheath, all gave generously to the event, thank you.

Without the help and care shown by the members of Trinity Church, the concert would not have been as successful.

Not only did they make sure everything ran smoothly but they donated the letting fee of £65.50 to the fund. Thank you Trinity Church.

A special thank you to all those who attended the concert and made the evening such a success and also those who bought tickets knowing full well that they would not be attending. The grand total raised was £1,202.70.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Joanne and the staff and Transco and McNicolas, Maggie and her friends at Brooklyn Ford and Gill Russell and the Studley Yoga Group for all their support during 2001.

The Where Next Association thanks you all and wishes you a very happy new year.
