AT the recent examination of the London College of Music, Birmingham Centre, Miss Rose Hobday, of Overdale, Webheath, obtained a high class certificate for singing.
Miss Smith, of West View, stands prominently among the successful candidates for pianoforte, having obtained 95 marks out of 100, Miss Mason, first class (senior), Miss Hobday, first class.
Miss Hobday is also the winner of the Warwick county prize for theory.
The above are pupils of Miss RG Turner, Devon House.
