A LEADING town politician has played a key role in calling for changes that could improve the lives of Spa pensioners.
Mid-Worcestershire MP Peter Luff said he is delighted to be one of the architects of a House of Commons victory over the Government on Friday.
The Tory MP supported a Private Member's Bill to reform laws on pensions and amuities.
Despite fears the bill - which would reform compulsory annuity purchase rules for certain types of private pensions - would be defeated, it has now been sent to committee for consideration.
