HEREFORD United seek to kill off minnows Chesham United in their FA Trophy third round replay at Edgar Street tonight (7.45) after twice letting victory slip from their grasp in Saturday's 2-2 draw.

But the Bulls could be without striker Rob Elmes, who was substituted with a bad back at half time and player/coach Phil Robinson rates his chances of playing as doubtful.

Robinson expects another ding-dong clash for a home tie with another Ryman Premier Division side, Hampton and Richmond Borough, on February 2.

"Saturday's game was end-to-end and I'm sure this has the makings of a similar game," he said.

"They were a decent side and lived up to expectations. We had reports on them which were quite favourable and they proved to be what they are - a promotion-chasing team in what is the strongest of the three feeder leagues.

"They've got some good players but having said that we were in front twice and it would have been nice to capitalise on that and win through.

"But they came back quite strongly and equalised. After 90 minutes, bearing in mind we were away from home and the fact they have only lost once at home, I think it was probably a good result but now we have an opportunity to finish them off."

Chesham's dangermen will again be Wayne Andrews and ex-Hereford striker Paul Fewings, who both scored on Saturday.

For Hereford, Paul Parry has a slight knock but should be fit while Daniel Davidson, who replaced Elmes, played carrying an ankle injury but is expected to be available but Scott Voice is still injured.

Veteran Ian Rodgerson, who scored Hereford's second goal, is set to start his second consecutive match.

FORMCAST: Bulls to go through 3-1.
