I HAVE been reading the letters of Burgess, Pinney et al over a very long time and have come to the conclusion that there is something very Freudian going on.

The way in which they never miss an opportunity to pour out vitriolic comments about Anita Knittel seems fuelled by more than just their support for hunting and so on.

I believe that just as they see no wrong in hunting animals, they see Miss Knittel as a quarry and show no respect for her views or the fact that she has a right to express her opinion.

This is an opinion representative of the concerns of any right-minded individual who is not obsessed with killing or maiming anything that cannot defend itself.
