RESIDENTS are being invited to grab their place on the town's annual seaside trip.

The Advertiser has teamed up with the Rotary Club of Droitwich Spa to offer readers a summer holiday in Blackpool.

For just £114, readers can enjoy a week-long stay at a top hotel. The cost covers transport and half board accommodation with en-suite facilities and evening entertainment.

There is a £20 supplement for a single room. The holiday begins on June 6 and Rotarians will jump aboard to ensure everybody has a great time until June 13.

Rotary community service committee chairman Mike Crossley said: "We are looking for people who wouldn't normally have a holiday and would benefit from a week away.

"Holidaymakers stay at small hotels near the centre of Blackpool which are run by caring hoteliers who come from the Midlands."

He believes the break is a great way to make new friends and can be helpful for people recently bereaved because they meet others in a similar position.

Applicants of all ages above ten are welcome and they must be able to cope with stairs.

Interviews for places are on Saturday February 16 at Rotary House, Corbett Avenue.

To apply, fill in the coupon on Page 3 of the Advertiser this week and return it in an envelope marked Holiday Offer to the Droitwich Spa Advertiser, 12a High Street, Droitwich Spa, WR9 8EW.

Single people wanting to share a room should return their slips in the same envelope.
