A BABY boy was the perfect gift for a Kidderminster couple on Christmas Day.
Baby Mason arrived a week late to give Carrie Meaker and partner Adam Swingler the best present of all.
Carrie, 19, of Trimpley Drive, said she was overwhelmed with her 8lbs 5oz arrival.
She added: "We came home on Saturday and Mason has been really good. He must have wanted to be born on Christmas Day.
"We celebrated the New Year with our new baby."
Mason made his entrance at Ronskwood Hospital, Worcester.
Despite a bundle of births on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, there were no babies born at Kidderminster on Christmas Day.
