WHILE coming off the roundabout to ascend Greenhill, my sharp-eyed son spotted a change in speed limit from 40 down to 30 mph. "Never," said I, and looked out for repeat signs all the way into the centre of town - none! Seems to me a perfect set up for a speed trap for the traffic police to wish us Merry Christmas. Fellow citizens who have not noticed the sly change, beware!
