THERE'S not many people who would give up their place in a queue for one of Britain's most glamorous cars, but a Malvern man has.

Not only did Mike Angell make someone else's dream come true by sacrificing his spot in a Mor-gan waiting list, he also helped the British Heart Foundation raise cash for its vital work.

The two-seater Morgan 4x4, worth £28,000 was the top prize in a major fundraising raffle held by the BHF, which celebrated its 40th birthday this year.

But they were behind Mr Angell on the lengthy waiting list to take delivery of the exclusive marque, until he kindly agreed to waive his priority.

Last Thursday he helped present the sports car to the raffle's winner, Kevin Dyche from Burton-on-Trent.

Also present was Freda Johnson, chairwoman of the Malvern BHF branch.

Mr Angell, who is an IT consultant and member of Malvern Town Council, will now get the Morgan car he ordered 18 months later than planned.

He said: "I am a great supporter of the BHF and am pleased to help with its fundraising."
