THE Geraldine Court Midweek Club has celebrated its first birthday.
The club, off Geraldine Road, Barnards Green, opens three days a week, giving older people the chance to meet, chat and enjoy a meal together.
Members are very enthusiastic about the club and say it has made a real difference to their lives.
Not only do they have the chance to meet and mix with other people they would not otherwise be able to see, but they enjoy lunches and entertainment put on by organisers Margot Churchill and Jane Bell. The club is run jointly by Friends of the Elderly, Elgar Housing Association and Malvern Social Services.
