The final two competitions of the year at Perdiswell Park Golf Club have been held.

The seniors had a Hogans Points system contest while the rest of the main adult members contested a similar competition.

Both events were subjected to curtailment due to the frozen Park course and restricted to only nine holes, but both sets of players attacked the course with gusto and some good scores were achieved.

The Seniors round was won by Ron Milbourne whose card of 26 points put him three points clear of George Knight, Tony Porter and John Saunders in joint second place. Peter Hazlehurst, Brian Hodgetts and Neville Baird grabbed joint fifth position.

In the main contest Cyril Misters claimed the premier spot by carding 24 points, just one clear of Roger Badham and John Millican in joint second place with Ron Milbourne and Chris Case on 22 points taking joint fourth.
