KIDDERMINSTER CIVIC SOCIETY - A Christmas event was held at Kidderminster Carolians Rugby Football Club, when Brian Gittins and Norman Broadfield gave a talk on The History of King Charles I Grammar School.
They told of the separate development of the town and Old Carolians rugby clubs, which subsequently merged to give today's successful Kidderminster Carolians team.
A walk along the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal from Kidderminster to Wolverley is planned for Saturday, January 12, starting at 11.15am from St Mary's Church car park.
Non-members will be welcome.
