BROMSGROVE Rovers face a 206-mile journey for their third round FA Trophy clash with Tow Law Town tomorrow (3pm).

The Durham side were beaten finalists in 1997-98 and boast a rich history in non-league football and also helped launch the career of England and Spurs star Chris Waddle.

Director of Football Steve Daniels, who has boosted his back room staff with the additions of ex-Stourbridge boss Mark Harrison and former Willenhall Town manager Martin Thomas, is looking forward to the clash.

"It's a great match but a long way to go and they'll be a tough side to beat," he said.

Rovers have been boosted by the return of defender Grant Beckett and striker Les Palmer to the club and will be aiming to recover from their surprise 3-1 defeat at Bridgnorth Town last weekend.

"Les and Grant will bolster our squad. We need to freshen things up a little bit after Saturday but no-one has a divine right to win football matches."
