THE Christmas community fayre was held last Saturday in the Village Hall. Represented were Powick Parish Ramblers, the Powick & Callow End Branch of the Royal British Legion, Powick Church selling cakes (raising £50 for the facilities fund), Callow End WI selling cakes and crafts, Callow End Primary School selling Christmas decorations and gifts, local artist Linda Judkins, Callow End Artists etc. On sale were calendars of old photographs of Callow End, raffle tickets and refreshments in aid of Callow End Village Hall.

Malvern Christian Witness Choir returns to St James' Church, Callow End this Sunday at 4pm. Everyone is welcome to share in this joyful celebration of Advent and Christmas in song.

Callow End Playing Fields Association is holding a children's Christmas party in the Village Hall on Sunday, December 16 from 4-6pm. Entry is £2 per child and will include fun, games and festive food.

Callow End Primary School held a Victorian Christmas fayre last week to raise funds. Cakes, crackers, Christmas crafts and gifts were on sale and Father Christmas was visiting. The school choir will be going to sing carols at Teme Court Nursing Home on December 11 and to St Cloud's Nursing Home, Callow End on December 18.
