SLUG-traps have been flying off the shelves of a Kidderminster-based company since it embraced e-commerce three years ago - and now the firm's owner is sharing its secret.
Westfield Products in Stourbridge Road - which exports environmentally-friendly slug traps around the world - has increased sales of Slug X from 4,000 orders to 69,000 since it developed a website.
Yesterday 77-year-old Inge Beaumont took to the stage at Warwick University, alongside representatives of Jaguar and other Midlands-based companies, to tell businesmen how to harness the internet.
"We are delighted we went down the e-technology route," said Mrs Beaumont.
