REDS target Chris Homer was in talks with manager Rod Brown about a move to the Valley last night.
The Olympic defender is set to meet the united boss again on Sunday but any proposed move could depend on Rushall's result in the all-Midland Alliance FA Vase tie at Barwell on Saturday (ko 3pm).
"He's interested but is a loyal guy and Rushall are going well in the Vase and challenging for the Alliance," said the Reds chief.
"We spoke at length but will have to wait until Sunday."
