A SINGLE punch felled a man in the crowd outside the Mirage nightclub in the early hours, a court heard.
Richard Smith, 19, of Worcester Road, Kidderminster, was fined £60, with £55 costs, when he admitted a Public Order Act offence of provoking fear of violence.
The victim of the assault had made no complaint, said prosecutor Stephen Harris. But police were on the spot and arrested Smith.
The other man had been pestering a woman and ignored warnings about his behaviour, said Gary Harper, for Smith.
He had been knocked down by the only blow to be struck.
