WORCESTER Rugby Club scrum-half Russ Coombs has been invited to trial for the Midlands Under 18 squad.
Coombs, who is already a member of the North Midlands Under 18 Club squad, is among a crop of regional players who have been asked to attend the trial at Castlecroft in Wolverhampton on tomorrow.
He will face skills and fitness assessments in the morning followed by a trial match in the afternoon.
Coombs is one of five members of this season's North Midlands 18-Group Clubs squad to take part tomorrow.
The others are Moseley prop Simon Clarke, Dudley Kingswinford hooker Adam Blackford, Old Halesonians number eight Daniel Grant, and Broms-grove centre Chris Abr-ams.
They impressed the divisional selectors during North Midlands' Midlands Championship campaign in which they won two of their five county matches.
The Midlands selectors will then name a squad to take part in the annual Divisional Festival which will also be played at Castlecroft from January 3 -6.
