Upton's Christmas lights are due to be switched on Monday (December 3).
Around 80 Christmas trees have been installed on flagpoles outside the town's shops by volunteers directed by the Tourism and Trade Association. They have been paid for by the TTA, local businesses, shopkeepers and other sponsors. However, a shortage of volunteers means many of the tree lights still need connecting before the switch-on. Anyone willing to help should contact Bill Dovey on 01684 594378.
