EVESHAM could only muster five players but, despite having to work twice as hard, they never gave up.
They welcomed the centre court support from new team member, Donna Appleyard, while shooter Wendy Hateley worked the circle well in support of Julia Bevan, who earned herself the player of the match vote for the fifth consecutive week.
Chris Ridge and Amy Bates worked well together in defence for the the first time and put pressure on the Castaway shooters on a day when Evesham will have been disappointed to have scored just 11 goals.
