Through your pages may I thank and congratulate Broadway's much treasured Betty Phillips.
A smashing photo and lovely write up on her winning an award for caring for Broadway's youngsters (through generations) was no more than she deserved. I do not know what our village would have done without her devotion and compassion. There are sadly too few like Betty and we here in Broadway have been greatly blessed in having Mrs Phillips as our friend and neighbour. I'm sure I speak for all 'her children', some of whom are parents themselves now when I say "thanks Betty, we love you and God bless".
