I WRITE to express my concern at the present ridiculous shortage of parking spaces in Kidderminster.

I use the surface car park in Bromsgrove Street two mornings a week when I go to the fitness suite at The Glades.

As I pay an annual subscription for this facility I very much resent the near impossibility and time involved in finding a parking space.

Last Monday I was reduced to parking in a short-term space which limited my use of the gym to less than my usual hour. I certainly did not have time to do any shopping.

Until now I have chosen to do most of my shopping in Kidderminster, but I regret that if this situation continues, which seems likely, I shall be forced to go elsewhere.

I am not alone in my complaint and I am pretty disgusted at the lack of forward planning by the group which now controls Wyre Forest District Council, which has resulted in the total inadequacy of car parking facilities for a town the size of Kidderminster.
