WORCESTER students will be gaining hands-on experience of managing a crisis when they take part in a workshop at County Hall.

The first and second year students of the BTEC National Public Services course at Worcester Sixth Form College will be holding a Crisis Management activity. This will form part of their disasters and emergencies unit.

On Friday, November 16, the Crisis Centre at County Hall will be transformed into a disaster scene.

The event is being arranged by Garrison Continuity, a private emergency planning business.

They were involved in the management of the aftermath of the New York attacks.

The group will be recreating the Coventry aircrash of 1995.
