Children's favourite Bob the Builder came to town on Thursday to check the building work taking place at the Kingfisher Centre met his high standards.
Scores of youngsters turned out to see their hard-hatted hero, whose visit was part of half-term entertainment organised by the Kingfisher Centre management team.
Other attractions included jugglers, mime artists, life-size robots and balloon modelling.
