DUE to Malvern Radar's home pitch at Victoria Park being deemed unfit, this fixture was switched to Wyvern's ground in St John's Worcester and resulted in a comfortable victory for Malvern Radar.

MALVERN RADAR 4, WYVERN 1

The Radar took the lead on 20 minutes when Darren Loader sprang the home team's offside trap and calmly lobbed the ball over the advancing Carl Redman in Wyvern's goal.

Nial Henderson then grabbed the second two minutes later when his shot from the edge of the box clipped the heel of a defender before nestling in the corner of the net.

Wyvern battled on and Chris Ball did well to field a couple of long range efforts although he stood no chance when they did score. A free kick was awarded some 25 yards out and up stepped Mick Bartlett who promptly drove in a left foot screamer low into the bottom corner.

The second half saw Radar mainly in charge and they wasted a number of chances before Henderson added the third on the hour and Trevor Bagnall completed the scoring with ten minutes remaining placing the ball wide of Wyvern keeper Redman from 12 yards.

This Sunday Malvern Radar are due to be at home to Perrywood Reserves in a Worcester League Division Two fixture, meet Victoria Park 9.45am.
