YOUNGSTERS at a Redditch kids' club scooped out pumpkins to be filled with coins for children growing up alone on the streets.

Children at Rosie's Fun Club, based at St John Fisher First School, took part in Pumpkin Week to raise funds for UNICEF.

Pumpkin-shaped activity packs were sent to all out-of-school clubs in the UK, sponsored by Pearl, and youngsters at the Church Hill club helped carve ghostly faces into pumpkins donated by J Sainsbury.

The money goes to education, food healthcare and shelter for youngsters in countries like India.
