ON Sunday, November 4, the Service at St Mary's Church at 11.15am will be Holy Communion using the Common Worship Order. Please note that Bridge Builders will not be meeting that day. The session has been moved to Sunday, November 11.
On Wednesday, November 7, there will be a bingo session at Longdon Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm.
Advance notice is given of the annual general meeting of Longdon Village Hall Committee to be held on Wednesday, November 14, at 7.30pm, in the Village Hall. All members of the community are invited to attend.
A reminder that On the Move, the Age Concern project to support elderly people in rural areas, gets underway on Monday, November 12, when their mobile day centre visits Longdon Village Hall from 10.30am-3pm. Minibus transport will be available; a cooked lunch will be provided by WRVS; and foot, hand and hair care facilities will be offered. The charge for the day including lunch, drinks, activities and transport will be £4. Enquiries to Olwen or Kay at Age Concern 01684 576655.
