MUSICIANS from the Malvern area are to band together for a concert in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice.
Ian Gifford, a bass singer from Malvern, Margaret Edgar, a mezzo-soprano from Cradley, and Barry Stone, a pianist from Suckley, will be joined by Vanessa Gunter, a Worcester flautist. They will be performing at the Lion Ballroom, in Leominster on Sunday, November 11.
Entitled Autumn Serenade, the performance will feature music by Schubert, Poulenc, Elgar and Gershwin, and others. Tickets, priced at £6 adults and £3 children, are available by telephone on 01568 613 477.
