A CONCERT featuring The Midsummer Quintet is being organised by Upton Arts Music Group.
The group is based around the Malvern Hills, taking its name from Midsummer Hill. It consists of Derek Walker and Jennie Jones on violin, Neil Nicholls on viola, Michael Amery on cello and Esther Kay on flute.
They will be playing baroque music by Handel and Bach, 20th-century compositions by Benjamin Britten and Gordon Jacob, and lighter music by Scott Joplin, Cole Porter and Rodgers and Hart.
The concert is at the Mem-orial Hall on Saturday, Nove-mber 3, at 7.30pm. Tickets, £4.50 for non-members, £1 students and children, are available on 01684 592310.
